Help prevent and Locate Missing Children:

The New York State Attorney General has joined with the State Division of Criminal Justice Services, and the New York State Police to help locate missing children.

New York State's Missing and Exploited Children Clearing House may be contacted via an electronic link to the State Department of Criminal Justice Services.

To report information on missing children contact the 24-hour, toll-free hot-line at 1-800-FIND-KID begin_of_the_skype_highlighting            1-800-FIND-KID      end_of_the_skype_highlighting. Hot-line information is immediately shared with law enforcement agencies.

The official and current listing of New York State missing children is maintained by the Division of Criminal Justice Service (DCJS) Missing and Exploited Children Clearinghouse (MECC) and is contained on the DCJS website.
