Statement By A.G. Schneiderman On The Observance Of Veterans Day

NEW YORK -- Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman released the following statement today in observance of Veterans Day.

“On this Veterans Day, we pay tribute to the selfless sacrifices of the men and women in uniform who have fought for our nation. Every American is eternally grateful for the price these soldiers and their loved ones have paid so that we may continue to enjoy our fundamental rights and liberties. Today, we honor their bravery and sense of duty by fulfilling our own moral obligation to protect them. It is our responsibility to care for not only the wounded veterans who have returned home, but also the grieving families whose heroes did not come back. Let us show them the same courage, integrity and professionalism that they have shown this great nation.”
