Statement From Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman On The State Of The State Address

Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today issued the following statement regarding Governor Andrew M. Cuomo's first State of the State address:

"In the months ahead, we face profoundly difficult choices as we work to balance our budget, revitalize our economy, and still protect those who are most vulnerable across our state. In addition to these challenges, reforming state government must also be a top priority, to restore the taxpayers' confidence in the public sector. Today, Governor Cuomo laid out an ambitious agenda to take on these issues, and I look forward to working with him to meet them head-on."
