Tomorrow Cuomo To Testify Before Us House Ed Committee
NEW YORK, NY. - On Wednesday, April 25, 2007, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo will testify before the House Education and Labor Committee at an investigative hearing into the unethical practices and conflicts of interest that have recently been revealed within the student loan industry. Cuomo is currently leading an investigation into the relationships between student lenders, school financial aid offices, and public officials responsible for administering federal student aid.
Following the hearing, Cuomo and Rep. George Miller (D-CA), chairman of the committee will hold a press availability in 2175 Rayburn.
